Bonnie Foster takes us from temple sunrises in Cambodia to sunset dinners in Fiji, and reflects on why some pieces don't just travel with you, they become part of the story.
One thing I've learnt after travelling to more than 30 countries is that you don't need to pack more -you just need to pack smarter!
I'm definitely guilty of overpacking clothes, but when it comes to jewellery, I've become much more intentional. I want pieces that work with everything, can take me from sightseeing to sunset drinks, and make me feel put together without having to think twice.
Over the past few months, I took my Atlas Pearls everywhere with me - from the ancient temples of Cambodia, to island sunsets in Fiji, weekends back home in Australia, and one of the most remote countries in the world, Tuvalu.
Before leaving, I packed four pieces that I knew would work with every outfit in my suitcase: the Indah Keshi Pearl Cluster Studs, Indah Keshi Pearl Ring, Legacy Baroque Strand Bracelet, and the Dewi Diamond Pendant.
Looking back now, I honestly don't think there was a day I didn't wear at least one of them!
The Dewi Diamond Pendant quickly became my everyday staple. It was one of those necklaces that instantly elevated even the simplest linen set or oversized shirt without ever feeling too dressy.
The Indah Keshi Pearl Cluster Studs were equally effortless. Comfortable enough to wear all day but polished enough that I never felt underdressed when plans changed from exploring to dinner.
The Legacy Baroque Strand Bracelet added something a little different. Every baroque pearl is beautifully unique. And the Indah Keshi Pearl Ring... I don't think I took it off for most of the trip.
I love jewellery that doesn't need to be saved for a special occasion, and that's exactly what these pieces became.
Each destination had its own completely different energy, but the jewellery somehow fitted every moment. In Cambodia, my days started before sunrise exploring Angkor Wat before wandering through colourful streets, markets and hidden cafés. Even in the tropical heat, the pearls felt light, effortless and timeless.
Back home in Australia between trips, they seamlessly became part of my everyday wardrobe. Whether I was filming content, meeting friends for lunch, attending events or heading out for dinner, they worked with absolutely everything!
Then there was Fiji... island life always slows me down in the best possible way. Sunset dinners by the water, barefoot walks along the beach and warm tropical evenings called for simple styling, and that's exactly where these pieces shone. They added just enough elegance without ever feeling overdone.
One thing I always appreciate is knowing the story behind what I'm wearing.

The Dewi Diamond Pendant appears in sunrise photos in Cambodia, the bracelet catches the light during golden hour in Fiji, the pearl studs feature in café stops around Australia, and the ring somehow found its way into almost every travel photo I took in Tuvalu.
That's when I realised these pieces had become more than accessories. They became part of the memories.
Travel has a funny way of attaching emotions to the things you wear. Months from now, I know putting on these pearls will instantly transport me back to temple sunrises, tropical evenings, airport adventures, and some of the most unforgettable places I've ever visited!
The best souvenirs aren't always the ones you buy while you're away.
