Differences in the shape of pearl studs can be subtle to the eye but forms one of the key points of difference for the finished look, grading, demand and therefore price.
High Buttons (BH) pearls are some of the more sought after, sitting out from the ear more. Due to the precious nature of these pearls High Button studs are only available in 18K yellow, rose or white gold.
